The follow are error and fault codes for most indesit washing machines. Indesit are a very popular often Italian built washing machines. If your unlucky enough to have your Indesit washing machine go wrong hopefully these faults might help you.
Indesit Washing Machines and Washer Dryers
• F10 – No cold fill. Check that the taps are on or if the drain hoses are kinked.
• F11 – No hot fill. The ambient temperature is likely to be below freezing possibly due to the pipes being
frozen. Also check that the taps are on or if the drain hoses are kinked.
• F12 – No mixed fill. It is likely that the water is not turned on at the taps.
• F13 – Check the water supply, inlet valve and hot and cold hose connections.
• F14 – A fault with the water heating has occurred.
• F15 – Water is not being pumped out and a flood condition could occur. Check that the drainage hose is
raised to the recommended minimum height and that the pipe is not blocked.
• F16 – Extremely high water level Disconnect or turn off the water supply and ensure that the water level
does not rise any more.
• F17 – Door not closed properly. Close door firmly at the 3 o’clock position.
• F20/1 – The thermistor resistance has drifted or the temperature scanning sequence is incorrect. The ambient temperature could be below freezing.
• F30/31 – A motor drive problem has occurred. Try running the programme again.
• F40 – Water below protection level during a heat step.
• F41 – Water level detect sequence incorrect.
• F50/51 – Customer language and wash programme have not been saved.
The system will run with default conditions (1000rpm max and English language). Book an indesit service engineer to reprogramme
your product.

Hi I had an indesit integrated washing machine delivered on friday (147) every single programme I put on the 4hr light comes on & its taking hours & not washing the clothes properly, Ive spoken to indesit who were no help at all to be honest. I have 4 weeks washing to do and all I want is to run the programme 11 that takes 30 mins not 6hrs, can you help? Ive tried all instructions for taking time delay lights off, it works then the 4hr one comes back on
Hi. My indesit is not rinsing,spinning or draining. It just washes and when gets on to rinsing it starts humming loudly and then all the lights on the machine starts flashing. Doesnot spin, rinse or drain on its own and door wuldnot unlock. Thnxs for any help.
I have a indesit wib101 as above and the same problem is the same. i think i found the presure switch i removed the pipe and loads of water came out of the bottom i guess the washer was full the pipe wasnt blocked and i blew into it and something clicked in the swith put it together and its still the same any more ideas. thanks

i have an indesit iwc6145s washing machine which after its spin cycle the cloths still come out wet through, i have looked at the drain point where the pump impellor is and thats clear and the impellor is free, i have checked the outlet pipe empties into the sink on spin cycle which it does , but still the cloths come out ringing wet through. any suggestions

My Indesit IWDC 6125 keeps tripping the MCB in the consumer unit.
I’ve disconnected the connections to the motor, the heater, and the pump and checked to see if the circuitry is OK, all seems fine. I cannot see any evidence shorting or burnt wiring.
I would welcome some suggestions.
I have a Indersit WIXXL126 in which the LED’s clock / iron / connect, flash and the machine does not work. She has no filter to see if it is unclogged, but I took the pump outlet and water was free. What can I do?

Secondly, I have a WIXL 163 which has developed a fault. The unit appears to be frozen with the 4h led constantly on. I have tried unplugging and leaving for a period of time but whenever I power up, it remains with just the 4h led on. No amount of button pressing or dial switching provokes any change.
Do you have any ideas? Is it likely to be a pcb issue?

Hi please could you help me i have an indesit wixi 143 and the lights keep flashing the stain remover light and extra rinse light (flash at the same time) and the lock light flashes really fast, its not spinning and theres a little bit of water left in the drum do you have any ideas ive been stressed out not knowing as i need my washing machine? i also need a user manuel for this washing machine i cant find one online anywhere?? I have a IBW5113 which has been standing for 6 months, I have re installed it and the 9hr light comes on no matter which program I select with the exception of spin and rinse, regardless the machine does nothing more. We have a Indesit washing machine model IWD5123. We do not get any fault code showing but the machine simply stalls after the wash, We have checked the filter and it is clean, the waste pipe is not restricted but does the machine does not empty, it just stalls, there is also a drain setting on the selector but that does not respond.

F-10 error code, as you have probably checked is a ‘no cold feed’ error. If you have checked that you have turned on the (after you checked it)…then remove the top end of the cold inlet feed pipe and see if there is any obstruction at the machine socket. There may be a filter or flow restrictor just inside the threaded section, which can get clogged/blocked. If this is ok then verify that there is water actually coming into the detergents compartment when you run the machine on.
If there is no water running into the machine then it may be the solenoid valve has no power supply, or is defective.
The “motor running but the drum won’t spin” sounds like the belt has come off or is defective.
Indesit wd12x washer-dryer
I have an integrated Indesit 12X uk washer-dryer. Been working great never had any problems till today when it was finishing the wash cycle in the final fast spin and we heard a loud bang and a then grinding/grating noise. Luckily as it was in final spin could just turn off then open it and take out the washing. Had a quick look and set it empty just to spin cycle, started up ok at slow spin speed/low gear then would just trip and would not accelerate and the dial would start turning . Any ideas? red light flashes 3 times
